1) What is euthanasia?
It is the process of killing a patient suffering from incurable and very painful diseases to let him have a peaceful death.
2) Active euthanasia
It is where the patient is directly given the lethal drug to make him die.
3) Passive euthanasia
Here the patient is not given the life supporting drugs or treatment in order to help him die instead of giving a life taking drug.
4) Voluntary euthanasia
In such cases patient himself asks to end his life or for help to die with his full consent.
5) Involuntary euthanasia
In this case the person is willing to live but is killed against his will.
6) Non-voluntary euthanasia
When the patient is not in a condition to take a decision for himself and somebody else takes the decision on his behalf. It may include a case of coma and child patient.
