Dreams can be fascinating, terrifying or just weird. Dreams sometimes leave you shocked for a day and sometimes you remain clueless what you dreamt about. You can really live a whole luxurious life in a dream that you may never be able to live in reality. Ever imagined how life would be without dreams? Dont even try. Because there can’t be any life without dreams and that’s a fact.
1. MEMORY LIMIT
There’s a time limit to how much you can remember about your dream. A person’s dream is forgotten in just few minutes, and half of the dream is gone with the wind. However, at the REM (rapid eye movement) stage, there are chances to remember the dream.
2. EVERYONE DREAMS
We all dream, even those of us who claim not to, except those who have psychological disorders. If you think you don’t dream, it’s just that you’re forgetting your dreams. Its found that people usually have several dreams each night, each one lasting for between 5 to 20 minutes.
3. BLIND PEOPLE DO DREAM
Blind people can dream. Despite the lack of visuals, the dreams of the blind are just as complex and vivid as those of the sighted. Instead of visual sensations, their dreams typically include information from the other senses such as sound, touch, taste, hearing and smell.
4. YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR DREAMS
The good part is that you can often control your dreams. You can manipulate, twist and turn the story of your dreams like it’s a film being shot in front of you. It is called the “Lucid dreaming” where you are aware that you are dreaming phase.
Anxiety is the emotion which you are more likely to experience in dreams. Negative emotions are much more likely to occur in your dreams. So don’t worry, you are not the only one getting nightmares frequently.
On an average, a normal person dreams for about one to two hours every night and can have more than five different dreams in one night.
You might not remember the person in your dream. However, a person only dreams of people he/she has met or seen in life.
You sometimes have the strangest of dreams – some scary, some troublesome and others totally angelic. These are all symbols for something or the other that you might constantly think.
You can reach a stage in lucid dreaming where you feel the sensations so strong that you can experience real orgasm.
10. DÉJÀ VU
It was found that 30% of people have experienced at least one precognitive (future sight – acquisition of future information) dream .
