It’s very hard to find a perfect inspiration when it comes to the dream of a professional career, that too without a penny. Some had good financial help, some had a cunning business mind and some inherited it. Then how come a ‘normal’ dreamer fulfills his desire. By normal, I meant a person with an absolute no help but a long sighted dream in eyes. Here I am going to list out some of the world’s wealthiest and famous personalities who turned up their lives and rose to fame, despite starting from nothing.

1. Charlie Chaplin

Let’s get started with the person we all know very well, “The king of the silent era”. From the age of 10, when his father died and his mother hospitalized in asylum (suffering from bipolar disorder), Chaplin was all alone to work and sleep on the cold streets of London.

The first and only African-American woman to win an Academy award for best actress, along with her wealth, fame, two failed marriages, a suicide attempt also has a period spent homeless in her records. According to her, a few nights spent in a public shelter taught her to live through any situation in life.

Mr. Kentucky Fried Chicken, the father of KFC, from the age of 10 to 40, was homeless who now comes in the list of the most recognizable and rich food businessmen. Colonel left the house at 10 due the constant humiliation by his stepfather, remained homeless and did many jobs until he came up with his own ‘secret’ recipe and became famous.

Starting her career as a waitress in Berkeley, California; living in her van for a long time with her financial woes, Orman became a best-selling author, a television host and one of the world’s most famous financial gurus.

The famous Chinese director with the world’s epic blockbusters, Face/off and Mission Impossible II in his credits, dealt with the rough side of life since the age of 7, when his family home was burned to the ground in a fire and his father, due to tuberculosis could not work and earn for his family.

When it is about the father of I Phone, the only words that come to mind are money, fame etc. But the CEO of Apple Inc., according to his own claims, used to live on the floor in his friend’s room and used to get a good meal once a week in Hare Krishna Temple with the money he got on selling empty Coke bottles for the nickel deposits.
