“We have been making braille drawings for about a year, but making the faces of AIB members gave us money and name. We have been getting more offers and orders in the past 2-3 months” – Saloni Patil.
Saloni Patil a volunteer, tutor and reader
A 19 year old engineering student has been volunteering at the Pune Blind School for girls for past 3 years. She is a tutor and reader who also started converting popular English Books into braille. Saloni initially didn’t wanted to do this for them but then after thinking about their education she decided to take this step and started volunteering here.

She taught these cute little angels how to use braille kits to draw pictures. And they make this drawings as adorable as they look.
Firstly, these kids make a rough sketch with the braille kit, glue and sparkles, then saloni works on it to give a finishing touch.

After the AIB Roast
This happened after the famous AIB roast which had Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer singh and Karan Johar as host with the AIB group. Patil and group of her students decided to make braille paintings these comedians.
Exhibition was a hit and the exposure
All India Bakchod being such a popular group which releases bang on videos on youtube and have crores of followers the exhibition had to work this well. Their work were displayed in America and Australia with the help of Saloni’s relatives who are settled there.
Selling pictures only for good price
They don’t really prefer selling this pictures and only display them in exhibitions. But if in case, the buyer offers a generous amount which help in contributing to these kids future, only then the pictures are sold.
These amazing paintings could raise over 2 lakh which is quite an amazing thing to witness. Let’s hope the school keeps growing this way and give these kids the future that they deserve.
